Detailed Job Description
  • Apply knowledge of statistics and research methodology to collect, analyze, and summarize data on various populations served by the College.
  • Manage sets of programs and queries, and create new programs and queries necessary to retrieve data and perform required analyses. Maintain expert knowledge of key institutional and governmental databases to enable this task.
  • Collaborates with various College personnel in an effort to help define data and/or analysis needs.
  • Create novel reporting solutions using data visualization software.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, or related field.
  • Three to five years of experience.
Skills
  • Ability to think creatively and independently to address complex enrollment, programmatic, and governmental reporting needs.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of statistical analyses, provide comprehensive written reports, and present findings in a matter befitting a diverse audience of administrators, faculty and staff.
  • Ability to query and merge complex data from enterprise-wide, governmental and private database sources.
  • Proficiency in SAS, R, Tableau or other software enabling data management, analysis and/or visualizations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
